Unit Trusts Research

FundsData™ provides data clients with a one-stop data solution for collective investment schemes, and the Profile team endeavours to capture and store every aspect of relevant information for every fund and every management company.

FundsData™ is a fully relational database structure designed to facilitate manipulation of data content. Descriptive content is, wherever possible, backed by field-defined data, allowing filtering, searches, date calculations and complex reporting.

The data covers all ASISA-registered retail funds, as well as FSB offshore registered Unit Trusts in South Africa. Where necessary we also research and maintain data for non-retail (institutional funds/classes) on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery

The services and feeds are customised to suit particular client requirements, and Profile's team is able to meet most technical requirements. All, or parts of, our databases are currently delivered to different clients in Access (mdb) format, XML, CSV (delimited) format, as SQL statements and in many cases as fully articulated HTML pages suitable for use as includes or for display in iFrames on existing websites.

Profile IR offers a range of web-based investor relations data services designed to enhance listed company websites. These include end-of-day prices (updated daily), live prices (updated continually, 15 mins delayed), news and SENS feeds, email alert services, and interactive charting options.

A Pro-Active Service

ProfileData's research department monitors listed company activity on a real-time basis. This enables us to be pro-active rather than reactive – ie, we nag our clients if they have forgotten to update their website rather than the other way around.
