RETIREMENT OF A DIRECTOR
Implats announces the planned retirement of Mr Alastair Macfarlane as independent non-
executive director from the Implats board of directors (the “Board”) in accordance with
paragraph 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements. Mr Macfarlane’s retirement took
effect on conclusion of the Company’s scheduled annual general meeting on 12 October 2022.
He was appointed to the Board in December 2012 as a non-executive director and was
appointed chairman of the Health, Safety and Environment Committee soon thereafter.

extends her sincere appreciation to Mr Macfarlane for his outstanding contribution to the
Company over the 10 years of exceptional board service.
