Repurchase of Bonds
Implats announces that it has repurchased a further 56 192 6.375% Coupon Senior Unsecured
Convertible Bonds due 2022 (the “Bonds”) equal to 17.29% in principal value of the Bonds,
which, together with the previous repurchase as announced on SENS on 26 March 2021,
amounts to 39.60% in the principal value of the Bonds.
Implats furthermore announces the following in relation thereto:

   •   the highest price paid for the repurchased Bonds: ZAR62,691.94
   •   the lowest price paid for the repurchased Bonds: ZAR55,721.46
   •   the principal amount of Bonds repurchased since most recent announcement:
       ZAR561,920,000.
   •   the nominal value of Bonds that remain outstanding as at the date hereof:
       ZAR1,282,850,000.

All repurchased Bonds will be cancelled and will no longer be listed on the JSE.

Any repurchase of the Bonds done in relation to this announcement was carried out in
accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Company will continue to pursue its goal of proactive balance sheet management within
its approved capital allocation framework in a prudent and responsible manner and will
continue to explore opportunities to repurchase Bonds subject to market conditions.
