Repurchase of Bonds
Implats announces that it has repurchased 35 758 6.375% Coupon Senior Unsecured
Convertible Bonds due 2022 (the “Bonds”) equal to 11% in principal value of the Bonds (the
“Repurchase”). The Repurchase includes 26 146 Bonds repurchased in terms of a tender offer
to bondholders as announced on SENS on 7 December 2020.
Details of the Repurchase are as follows:

   •   the highest price paid for the repurchased Bonds : ZAR56,644.13
   •   the lowest price paid for the repurchased Bonds : ZAR38,874.98
   •   the principal amount of repurchased Bonds : ZAR357,580,000
   •   the nominal value of Bonds that remain outstanding as at the date hereof:
       ZAR2,339,520,000.

All repurchased Bonds will be cancelled and will no longer be listed on the JSE.

The Repurchase was carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Company will continue to pursue its goal of proactive balance sheet management within
its approved capital allocation framework in a prudent and responsible manner, and will
continue to explore opportunities to repurchase Bonds subject to market conditions.
