FINANCIAL RESULTS – NOTIFICATION OF RELIANCE ON THE FSCA MARKET NOTICE DATED 7 JULY
2020

In line with many corporates, the Group has been faced with the challenges of varying levels and
extensions to lockdowns flowing from COVID-19 across the geographies in which it operates.
Following the guidance issued by the JSE Limited, the Group wishes to ensure that adequate
consideration is given to the financial impact of COVID-19 on the assumptions, judgments and
estimates used in preparing its financial statements.

Accordingly, the Group believes it prudent to postpone the announcement of its results for the year
ended 30 June 2020 by utilising the extension to reporting obligations afforded by the Financial
Sector Conduct Authority (the “FSCA”), as announced by the JSE Limited in a letter dated 8 July 2020.

As advised by the JSE, the Company emphasizes that market participants should not draw undue
adverse inferences as a result of it making use of the extension periods available to it.

It is expected that in line with COVID-19 regulations and to ensure appropriate social distancing, the
results presentation will take place via remote electronic means and details thereof, together with a
new date for the announcement, will be communicated in due course.
