Shareholders are advised that the Annual Integrated Report of Implats for the year ended 30 June 2012, which 
includes the annual financial statements (“Annual Integrated Report”), has been distributed to shareholders of 
the Company today, Thursday, 27 September 2012. The Notice of Annual General Meeting 2012 has also been 
distributed  to  shareholders  today  and  both  documents  are  available  on  the  Company’s  website 
(www.implats.co.za). 
 
The  annual  financial  statements  contain  no  changes  or  modifications  to  the  condensed  audited  preliminary 
consolidated annual results released on SENS on Thursday, 23 August 2012.  
 
Notice of Annual General Meeting 
Notice is hereby given that the fifty-sixth Annual General Meeting of shareholders of the Company will be held 
at the Company’s head office in the Boardroom, 2nd Floor, 2 Fricker Road, Illovo, Johannesburg at 11:00 on 
Wednesday, 24 October 2012. 
 
Salient dates 
The  Annual  Integrated  Report  and  the  Notice  of  Annual  General  Meeting  have  been  distributed  to  the 
Company’s  shareholders  who  were  recorded  as  such  in  the  Company’s  register  of  shareholders  on  Friday, 
14 September  2012,  being  the  notice  record  date  used  to  determine  which  shareholders  are  entitled  to 
receive notice of the Company’s Annual General Meeting. 
 
The  record  date  for  shareholders  to  be  registered  in  the  register  of  the  Company  for  purposes  of  being 
entitled to participate in and vote at the Annual General Meeting is Friday, 19 October 2012 (“voting record 
date”).  Accordingly, the last date to trade in order to be registered in the Company’s register of shareholders 
on the voting record date shall be Friday, 12 October 2012. Forms of proxy must be lodged by no later than 
11:00 on Tuesday, 23 October 2012.
