Further to the announcement released on SENS on 29 October 2009 MTN Group       
advises of a correction to Nigeria`s reported average revenue per user          
("ARPU") owing to an omission of SMS revenues in the calculation. The           
corrected ARPU`s and percentage changes are as detailed below.
