IT Support Technician
February 2025Profile Group has an opening in the company's IT Support and Infrastructure Department. We are looking for a talented IT support technician to join our team to take care of our on-site and off-site support and hardware, which comprises of desktop computers, servers and other network devices and also provide first-level support.
Job Specification
- Resolving IT support requests from employees and customers.
- Answering questions or resolve computer problems for employees.
- Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues.
- Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed.
- Updating employees and customers on the status of their service requests.
- Answering questions and resolving customer queries via telephone, electronically and remotely.
- Resolving logged issues or problems in a timely manner.
- Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components.
- Documentation of common technical issues and solutions (Knowledge Base).
- Assisting Unit Trust Research department with sourcing and capturing factsheets (MDDs) into the database.

- Customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with employees, co-workers and customers.
- Paying attention to details.
Qualifications & Experience
National Diploma in IT or equivalent.
