Sales Executive Wealth Analytics products

The Profile Group was established 25 years ago. Through its subsidiaries, Profile Media and Profile Data, the group undertakes research and delivers customised investment data solutions and services to a wide range of local and international customers. We count as our clients most financial institutions in South Africa and these cover wealth managers and advisors, stock brokers’ banks and collective investment management companies. Our core delivery areas include the delivery of time series data (JSE and international price data), unit trust data, company fundamentals and database system integration. We also provide off the shelf analytical software products which integrate the group’s research such as Analytics and ShareMagic.

Job brief

We are looking for a strong independent individual that can liaise with senior management and sell financial analytics software. The candidate needs to have a passion for selling and must be goal orientated Travel is essential in and around Johannesburg with occasional trips to other major centres. You will call upon and meet customers to discuss the benefits and features of the product and explain its usefulness in the execution of their day to day financial; analysis. The products are purely web based and have vast capabilities. You will be expected to become an expert within the field to enable you to maximise the sales and service potential.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and maintaining customer service and satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities
  • Prepare and improve presentation material
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and carry out product presentations
  • Assist clients by setting up training sessions where requires. Create frequent reviews and management reports. Negotiate and close deals while handling complaints or objections from customers
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to achieve targets and budgets.

Requirements

  • Sales experience as a sales executive or relevant role
  • Proficiency in English
  • Have your own car and valid driver license
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • An aptitude for marketing and negotiating techniques
  • An understanding of the Financial Wealth Industry will be an advantage
  • Fast learner and have a passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations

Advertising Sales Executive

The Profile Group has a vacancy for an Advertising Sales Executive in the company’s Sales department reporting directly to the Sales Manager.

The position involves the sale of advertising into the Profile Group’s publications as well as websites.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven Sales Track record
  • Experience within the financial and / or investment industry is advantages, but not compulsory
  • Established network of clients would be advantageous
