Focus and Objective
This sub-fund invests in a wide selection of US dollar denominated interest bearing securities including the obligations of the United States of America and other governments, agencies and corporations. The bonds may be either domestic bonds, foreign bonds ("Yankees") or bonds issued elsewhere ("eurodollar bonds"). In all cases bonds are at least "A" rated by Moodys, or Standard & Poors where these agencies have produced a rating. In other cases the relevant Investment Adviser certifies that he considers these securities to be of equal quality.
The portfolio will primarily consist of US bonds and other high quality fixed income instruments. It will be constructed within a disciplined framework with controls on duration and security selection.
