Focus and Objective

This fund invests in British Government bonds and the sterling-denominated assets of other governments and private issuers, for example, sterling eurobonds and bulldog bonds.The team uses top-down analysis from the HSBC Global Investment Strategy Group and Fixed Income Duration Committee and combines this with analysis of the yield curve and specific securities. Portfolio construction is carried out within a disciplined framework with controls on duration and security selection.
