| Mr Albert Morillo, B.Ing, MBA |
| Albert Morillo, managing director and head of European equity of BlackRock International, Ltd and a member of BlackRock International's Management Committee. His primary responsibility is European equity research and portfolio management. Prior to joining BlackRock in 1999, Mr Morillo was an investment director of Scottish Widows Investment Management, head of its European equity team, and a member of the Investment Policy Group. Mr Morillo joined Scottish Widows Investment Management in 1985 as an UK equity analyst. He moved to the European equity desk in 1986 and was appointed head of the European team in 1991. Mr. Morillo began his career with Royal Dutch/Shell. Mr. Morillo earned a BSc degree in chemical engineering at Edinburgh University and obtained an MBA degree in 1984. He is a member of the International Board of the Paris Stock Exchange. |

Focus and Objective
|
The aim of the fund is to achieve capital growth by investing predominantly in Continental European companies, especially those based in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. The European markets offer opportunities in both large international companies and those involved in specialist areas. The fund’s geographic exposure is actively managed, in pursuit of the best performing markets.
