Focus and Objective
To achieve capital appreciation by investing in fixed interest securities and cash. The fund is a direct securities fund, investing in a combination of bonds, interest bearing securities and other securities of a similar nature. The fund has outperformed the index over the past month. During a tough bond market in 2007 to date the fund has kept pace with USD cash and is over 2% ahead of the peer group median. This puts the fund into the top quartile of the Lipper survey. Since inception (1st May 2003), the fund has beaten the median and the index by over 1% per year and is ranked in the top quartile over the period. Fund performance to date is equivalent to USD LIBOR +1.8%
